Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in AWS , Azure , and Python to support an important content migration project. This is an intermediate-level contract role where you will be responsible for configuring AWS environments, optimizing performance, security, and scalability, and troubleshooting issues during the setup phase of the eGain migration.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies and a solid understanding of software engineering best practices. You will collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment with evolving requirements and contribute to the overall success of the migration.
Key Responsibilities :
AWS Platform Configuration : Configure and set up AWS environment to meet organizational requirements for content migration, with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
Troubleshooting & Support : Provide technical support, write Python widgets, and troubleshoot issues during the setup phase to ensure smooth migration.
Collaboration : Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to adapt to changing requirements of the migration process.
Optimization : Ensure the cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, security, and scalability.
Technical Documentation : Write and maintain clear documentation related to the AWS setup, technical issues, and solutions.
Must-Have Skills :
Experience : 5-8 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, specializing in cloud technologies and content migration.
AWS Expertise : Strong experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting AWS environments.
Azure Development : Proficiency with Client Azure for application development and deployment.
Python Programming : Ability to write Python code for automation and troubleshooting.
Cloud Setup & Optimization : Experience in configuring and optimizing AWS environments for performance, security, and scalability.
Technical Support : Proficiency in providing technical support and resolving issues during the setup and migration phases.
Agile Methodologies : Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) for efficient project management and execution.
Cloud Security & Development Best Practices : Knowledge of cloud development techniques like Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Software Engineering Fundamentals : Deep understanding of software development life cycle, including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications :
Recent Client Experience : Experience working on client-facing projects or in similar roles.
Multi-Cloud Experience : Experience with both AWS and Azure is preferred.
Agile Experience : Experience working in Agile teams and environments.
Additional Programming Languages : Familiarity with additional programming languages beyond Python.
