Title : Supply Operations Manager - RLT ESO
Location : Indianapolis IN 46241
Duration : 11 months (Strong possible extension)
Role Purpose : The Supply Operations Manager for RLT ESO will drive detailed planning, scheduling, and order management within Supplier Relationship Teams to ensure agreed delivery performance levels. The role involves managing relationships with External Suppliers and customers for all supply-related matters, including demand / supply planning, analysis, order management, and stock management for free-of-charge customer-supplied components, guaranteeing high customer service levels.
Major Accountabilities :
- Supplier Management & Performance : Meet with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to discuss NOSSCE and business KPIs, providing performance feedback, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing improvements. Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders around supply issues.
- Supply Planning : Establish and oversee an optimal supply plan balancing customer service levels, production capabilities at external suppliers, inventory levels, and operational costs according to the budget. Lead S&OP meetings with suppliers as outlined in the segmentation assessment.
- Inventory & Cost Management : Take responsibility for managing TechOps inventories according to defined target values. Analyze inventory levels to identify opportunities for inventory turn improvements, waste reduction, and KPI / CSL optimization. Follow up on inventory differences.
- Supply Chain Design & Execution : Design and implement adaptable supply chain models that support business strategies, account for changing market conditions, and identify new business opportunities or cost reduction strategies.
- Product Lifecycle Management : Participate in coordinating engineering changes, product line extensions, and new product launches to ensure smooth and timely production flow transitions.
- Order Fulfillment : Manage order fulfillment tasks for products manufactured at external suppliers within the scope of the Supplier Relationship Team (SRT). Ensure timely order fulfillment, including organizing and managing the physical shipment of goods in collaboration with freight forwarders.
- Data Management : Maintain planning and master data parameters (e.g., MOQ, Lead Times, order frequency) for active assortment in collaboration with local master data management.
- Financial & Logistics Management : Oversee transport invoice verification, toll reconciliation (if applicable), and creation / maintenance of Bills of Materials.
