Work with a team of Technicians and Engineering Resources in Electronic Test to build / repair / rework avionics red label products and the CCA's within. Candidate should be an expert with lead-free soldering and have 10 years experience with surface mount, plated-through-hole, cuts-and-jumps, bonding, conformal coating, etc.
A secondary part of the job when not working on red-label avionics will be the build and repair of test equipment in the eFab (Electronic Fabrication group), This includes supporting customers across Engineering and ISC. This also includes the full range of tasks from replacing a broken pin on a connector, to working on a controller / adapter box, to building a full-up ATE and all the sub-assemblies going into it.
Below is a high-level summary of responsibilities and skills needed with the eFab group.
This includes assembly, modification, repair of the following :
Cable Harnesses
Circuit Cards including delicate and micro-electronics
Break-out Boxes / Test Adapters
Power Controllers
Full-up Test Stations / Racks
EMI Fixtures
Micro-Electronics
Candidates should possess the following skills / familiarity :
Able to read and understand electrical schematics and prints
Able to read and understand mechanical schematics and prints
Knowledge and use of crimping tools, soldering iron, cutters / strippers, mechanical tools, volt-meter, continuity testers, label maker, etc.
Experience building / fabricating Test Equipment assemblies
Experience working on red-label products and lead-free CCA work
Experience with electronic troubleshooting and repair
Work directly with engineering with build recommendations and offer problem solving solutions
Familiar with IPC standards and / or IPC certified
Familiar with SAP
Computer savvy
TIME KEEPING
Worker will utilize TWB for weekly time reporting. Supplier should register in Fieldglass on behalf of worker as he / she will not need access to this system. It is imperative that the registration is completed as soon as possible after receipt of registration invitation in order to assign the Fieldglass Worker # to the contingent worker. This Fieldglass Worker # is required to properly setup the worker in TWB for time reporting by HON manager. Your attention to this process will eliminate delays in receipt of worker hours and invoice creation.
