Title: Investment Analyst
Client: Banking
Location: Jersey City, NJ (3 Days onsite)
Duration: 2-3 months (Possibility of extension)
The primary importance for here in terms of the qualifications is knowledge of alternative investments – hedge funds and private equity funds.
Responsibilities
This position requires a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for assisting the team that supports the Alternative Investments platform. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:
• Hedge Fund (feeders, fund of funds & Managed Accounts) Product Support
o Assist with the fund launch process
o Assist in the oversight of Trade exceptions and FOP Transfers
o Update various calendars and trackers
§ hedge fund feeder and FoF trading calendars
o Maintain a list of funds on the platform with pertinent information.
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Mathematics or Finance
• 4-6 years of experience performing a similar function with a focus on investment funds (hedge, private equity, or mutual funds)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and work within tight deadlines
• Working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups required) and other Microsoft Office applications
Salary : $75 - $80
