We serve North America market through and multiple productive plants in Europe and North America.
Role Description
For our facility in Hicksville, NY we are looking for the Production & Supply Chain Manager to run procurement, production planning and manufacturing activities for the North American market.
The Manager, reporting to Group Chief Operations Officer and to North America CEO, shall be responsible for the following activities:
PLANNING AND PRODUCTION:
· Responsible of demand planning to meet the requirements set by North America CEO
· Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
· Control, calibrate and replenish the stock of finished goods and components
· Coordinate production (assembly) of finished goods in Hicksville plant
· Responsible of production scheduling, output quantity and on time delivery according to company quality standard
· Coordinate activities of any third party manufacturer, issuing orders of finished goods and keeping under control its performance in term of quality and punctuality
· Pre-order feasibility analysis and confirmed delivery date in constant dialogue with local sales force; provide communication and update during the preparation of the order and to arrange the shipment
· Ensure that the production and local operations are carried out according to safety regulation and any other regulation requirement set by local Authority
SUPPLY CHAIN
· Prepare and issue purchase orders of finish goods, components and materials to local suppliers and Company Head quarter in Europe, in constant dialogue with Operations Department in Italy and in line with Company policies.
· Coordinate inbound/outbound logistic
· Cooperate with product development and industrialization departments in Italy and Canada to launch new products’ production in the USA
· Cooperate with Quality Department of Head Quarter in Italy to keep and improve quality product standards
· Coordinate maintenance, procurement and renewal of production equipment.
