What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Artemis Electronics?
Duties to Include:
- Tear down of 3kW External Auxiliary Power Units:
- Removal of diesel engine, alternator and panels
- Prep for shipment to outside repair vendors
- Inspection of frame and other components for rust / corrosion
- Sandblasting, chemical prep and coating of repaired units.
- Remove/Disassembly of internal components
- Inspections of wire harnesses and electrical components for defects, damage, and faulty connections
- Full Buildup of 3kW External Auxiliary Power Unit
- Installing of engine, wire harnesses, electronic control unit, alternator, starter, and additional internal components
- Final Testing / Troubleshooting of 3kW External Auxiliary Power Unit
- As Required:
- Part kitting
- Stenciling panels / doors
- Apply gaskets to panels / doors
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
