We are seeking a highly talented Cloud Engineer with experience in design, management, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. The Cloud Engineer will be part of a multi-functional team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency R&D Applied Research & Testing Emergency Technologies (ARTET) Program. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the Department of Defense in early-stage adoption of emerging and disruptive technologies. Roles & Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
- Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
- Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.
Requirements :
7 years of work experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
5-7 years of experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
2 years of experience with AWS user, security, and networking configurations
4-5 years of experience scripting in Python or Bash or comparable language
3 years of experience scripting against AWS CLI
2-3 years of experience with enterprise CI / CD
