Description : Introduction

Storey Creek HOA is dedicated to maintaining a beautiful, safe, and functional environment for all residents and visitors. Our comprehensive maintenance plan is tailored to address the unique needs of the community, ensuring the proper upkeep of all common areas within the community.

This position will be a 3-day schedule 24-hour work week. The schedule will be flexible not set days.

Personal Transportation Requirement

To perform daily inspections and ensure timely response to maintenance needs, reliable personal transportation is required. Inspections and maintenance tasks span the entire community and involve frequent travel to various common areas.

Areas of Focus

Maintenance responsibilities will cover all HOA-managed common areas, including but not limited to :

  • Clubhouse and Pool Area

Routine inspections and addressing repairs or safety concerns promptly.

  • Ensuring the pool is safe, clean, and compliant with Florida health standards.
  • Maintenance of clubhouse facilities, including restrooms, meeting rooms, and exterior areas.
  • Sport Plex Area
  • Maintenance and cleaning of the basketball court, tennis court, soccer field, and outdoor exercise area.

  • Regular inspections of restrooms and playgrounds, addressing repairs or safety concerns promptly.
  • Playgrounds
  • Inspection and upkeep of playground equipment for safety and functionality.

  • Removal of debris and maintenance of surrounding landscaping to ensure a clean and enjoyable play space.
  • Scope of Services

    General Maintenance :

  • Routine Inspections : Scheduled checks of all facilities to identify potential issues early.
  • Repairs and Upkeep : Address minor repairs and ensure all areas are in good condition.
  • Landscaping Support : Collaborate with landscaping vendors to maintain attractive and functional outdoor spaces.
  • Hardscape Maintenance

  • Sidewalks and Pathways : Cleaning, debris removal, and power washing as needed.
  • Parking Areas : Sweeping, line repainting, pothole repairs, and power washing.
  • Lighting : Inspection and replacement of bulbs in streetlights, pathway lights, and exterior fixtures.
  • Signage : Cleaning and repairs to maintain a professional community appearance.
  • Building Maintenance

  • Exterior Cleaning : Pressure washing walls, awnings, and other surfaces to remove dirt and mildew.
  • Gutter Maintenance : Clearing leaves and debris to prevent water damage.
  • Painting and Touch-Ups : Routine upkeep of high-traffic areas.
  • HVAC System Checks : Ensuring proper function of common-area HVAC systems.
  • Playground and Sport Plex Maintenance

  • Playground Equipment : Regular safety inspections, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Sport Courts : Power washing, net replacements, and minor surface repairs.
  • Preventative and Emergency Maintenance

  • Scheduled Inspections : Proactive checks to address issues before they escalate.
  • Emergency Response : Rapid response to water leaks, storm damage, or other urgent issues to minimize disruption.
  • Compliance and Standards

  • Adherence to Florida regulations for environmental responsibility, waste disposal, and pesticide use.
  • Commitment to OSHA safety standards and industry best practices.
  • Quality Assurance and Communication

  • Reporting : Monthly updates to Storey Creek HOA detailing completed tasks, upcoming maintenance, and repair needs.
  • Accountability : Regular supervisory inspections to ensure work meets the community’s expectations.
  • By combining high-quality service, attention to detail, and a focus on resident satisfaction, we aim to create and maintain a welcoming environment at Storey Creek HOA. With reliable personal transportation, a proactive approach, and a commitment to excellence, this role plays a vital part in preserving the community’s appeal and functionality.

    Requirements : Qualifications :

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) certification is highly desirable.
  • Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or a relevant degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a relevant setting.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Capable of climbing ladders, bending, and working in confined spaces.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
