IT System Specialist
Description
As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of end-user workstations and other technologies. You will provide direct support to staff for technical issues and manage support requests via a helpdesk ticketing system. You will assist the IT Manager in organizing, implementing, and maintaining technology assets and systems. The position demands excellent communication skills, customer service, troubleshooting abilities, and attention to detail. We expect you to be proactive in learning and growing in your career.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Manage SharePoint application features and services
- Administer SharePoint site collection and content management
- Develop and support integrated SharePoint solutions and workflows
- Plan, configure and install networking equipment
- Install and maintain computer hardware and software
- Administer user accounts using Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Maintain network access points, server, and firewall
- Monitor network traffic and validate Unifi patches
- Interact with business and technical users
- Review security monitoring systems
- Write clear and detailed documentation
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- You might be assigned special projects
Requirements
Certs:
- AZ-900, AZ-103, AZ-203
- Microsoft 365 - MS-900 Fundamentals or higher
- Any CompTIA certifications
Education:
- Degree or 2 years of experience in related computer science field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365 Administrator
- Previous Microsoft 365 administration experience
- Preferred experience in Powershell, Power Automate, General Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare, and Windows Server.
Core Skills:
- 3 years advanced experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and Network
- Experience in Windows (client and server) and iOS, macOS, and Windows mixed environments
- Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve end-user technical issues quickly and accurately
- Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Ability to organize work, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up on assignments
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure planning, implementation, and management
- Experience with O365, Teams Administration, and Cloud Backup and Restore preferred
- Power BI experience preferred
- Willingness to ask for help when needed
Physical Requirements:
- Regular movement between buildings, up/down flights of stairs.
- Lifting, carrying, or moving equipment up to 50lbs.

The compensation for this position ranges from $18 to $25 per hour based on experience.
