Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of People Operations, the Director HRBP will lead a team of HR Business Partners in a centralized shared services environment who individually support a broad range of entities and employees. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver people solutions that meet business objectives of the individual entities while providing leadership to the HRBP team to help educate, advise, and influence across a dynamic, matrix environment.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the HR business processes to ensure proper administration of HR functions and create efficiencies among the different entities. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Employee engagement, retention, leadership development, coaching, employee relations, benefits, labor relations, compensation, and change management.
- Foster a greater level of synergy and collaboration across the HR Business Partners by enhancing the centralized infrastructure, strengthening policies, addressing company growth, and advising on business needs/challenges.
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership throughout all business divisions to develop and implement HR strategies that deliver an integrated employee lifecycle experience aligned with organization goals and objectives.
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities of improvement that cultivate stronger employee satisfaction and continuously strengthen the infrastructure of the organization.
- Be a trusted mentor and advisor to the HRBP team, providing continuous support of both individual development and day-to-day operations of their unique entities.
- Maintain an intimate understanding of Hillspire’s entities and the individual portfolio that each HRPB supports to provide tailored guidance, proactively anticipate needs, and support the development of strategic initiatives.
- Model and drive continuous learning to maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by aligning cross-functional resource plans with business objectives.
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop organizational and people strategies to improve the performance and effectiveness of each business group.
- Lead the teams, by example, to be ambassadors of Hillspire’s culture at every touch point.
- Guide workforce planning and organizational design to align with business strategies.
- Analyze people data and provide actionable insights to organizational leaders while supporting the implementation of change across the business.
- Champion a respectful and inclusive culture.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of strategic HR experience including supporting global teams
- 5 years in an HR leadership role with proven success in managing HR Business Partners
- Must have hands-on experience (performing or managing) all aspects of HR
- Big-picture thinker who anticipates future trends and creates competitive, creative talent strategies
- Inquisitive and creative mindset with excellent analytical skills
- Experience in multi-entity environments, preferably in a shared services model
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence, able to present and contextualize people data to senior leadership
- HRIS experience
- Must possess a ‘doer’ mentality and an attitude of ‘do what needs to get done’
- High emotional intelligence; trustworthy, transparent, and self-motivated
- Strong managerial courage with the ability to provide direct feedback, coach, and develop leaders to become more effective in their roles
Salary : $225,000 - $275,000
