Position Description :
An established CPA and Business Management Firm is hiring for a Tax Accountant or Senior Tax Accountant position. The Tax Accountant will assist with tax preparation, accounting and planning.
Responsibilities :
- Perform professional tax accounting and financial services for clients.
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns.
- Perform bookkeeping entries, monthly bank reconciliations and generate financial reports using QuickBooks or Datafaction / AgilLink.
- Process Payroll, Payroll Tax Deposits, and Quarterly Payroll Tax returns.
- Prepare annual 1099's.
- Make adjusting journal entries for client bookkeeping including adjusting schedules and reclassifying expenses.
- Tax planning and consulting.
- Work with internal tax and management company teams within the firm.
