About the Role:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, a key player in the entire accounting cycle to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP standards. You’ll play a key role in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Manage Financial Transactions: Oversee and record day-to-day transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
✅ Collaborate with Property Managers: Work closely with onsite teams to maintain accurate ledgers.
✅ Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, receipts, payments, and perform twice-monthly check runs.
✅ Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile accounts.
✅ Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements.
✅ Compliance & Year-End Prep: Complete 1099s, 1096s, and audit-ready financials annually.
✅ Assist with Administrative Tasks: Open mail daily, answer phone calls, and provide support as needed.
What You Bring to the Team:
🔹 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience.
🔹 Deep understanding of GAAP standards and financial reporting.
🔹 Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and transactions with high accuracy.
🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
🔹 Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
🔹 A customer service mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
