As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Purchaser/Buyer to manage procurement, vendor relations, and inventory planning to support our expanding product lines.
Responsibilities:
๐น Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality textiles, promotional merchandise, and marketing materials at competitive prices.
๐น Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers to ensure timely delivery and consistent quality.
๐น Cost Analysis & Budgeting: Monitor pricing trends, conduct cost comparisons, and develop strategies to optimize purchasing decisions.
๐น Inventory & Order Management: Track stock levels, analyze demand, and coordinate orders to prevent shortages or overstocking.
๐น Quality Control: Ensure that all purchased materials and products meet company quality standards and branding guidelines.
๐น Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging products, and innovative sourcing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
๐น Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and sales teams to align purchasing decisions with business objectives and customer needs.
Qualifications:
โ Bachelorโs degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field (not required).
โ 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within textiles, merchandising, or retail.
โ Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
โ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
โ Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
โ Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
โ Knowledge of global sourcing, logistics, and import/export regulations is a plus.
