Artera is seeking an execution-focused and detail-oriented Lab Operations Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the lab’s daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows and accurate sample processing that enable high-quality diagnostic services for cancer patients. Your responsibilities will include receiving and accessioning specimens, preparing outbound shipments, monitoring sample progression, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory protocols. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about personalized medicine and looking to build their skills in a fast-paced laboratory environment while contributing to impactful medical outcomes.
\n- Process incoming shipments, ensuring all samples are documented, labeled, and stored in compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Enter and verify sample information into the laboratory information management system with precision, maintaining meticulous records to ensure traceability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare, package, and ship materials to pathology labs, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while tracking shipments and communicating status updates as needed.
- Monitor the progression of samples through the lab’s workflow, ensuring timely completion of tasks and resolving delays or bottlenecks in collaboration with customer success, sales, and other teams.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment by adhering to all safety, quality, and regulatory protocols, supporting regular reviews of compliance records to ensure standards are met.
- Bachelor's degree relevant to Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a laboratory performing high-complexity tests.
- Demonstrated ability to execute tasks efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely completion of assignments while maintaining a strong focus and attention to detail.
- Experience in pathology, biochemistry, molecular biology, proteins, or immunology techniques preferred. Startup experience is considered an advantage.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills, and highly motivated.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, with a strong aptitude for seeing the big picture and prioritizing tasks effectively

Salary : $45,000 - $60,000
