Responsibilities
Leadership & Employee Development
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a positive, inclusive environment.
- Provide coaching, set clear performance goals, and support employee growth.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, timely shipments, and adherence to safety standards.
- Use Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
Performance Monitoring
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify improvement areas, and implement creative solutions to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA regulations, lead safety training, and conduct regular audits to maintain a secure work environment.
Collaboration
- Work closely with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to align warehouse operations with broader organizational objectives.
This job might be for you if:
Qualifications
- 5 years in shipping and receiving operations.
- 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Expertise in RF Scanning, distribution systems, and domestic/international logistics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to influence and motivate diverse teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving alignment toward organizational goals.
- Spanish communication skills (preferred).
- Firsthand distribution experience in the home décor industry is a plus.
