Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Crew member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including FCAW, to repair or fabricate components as needed.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for assembly, repair, and maintenance work.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Execute pipe threading tasks to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems.
- Plumb fixtures and equipment according to established standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly FCAW, is essential.
- Strong ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with pipe threading is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints is a valuable asset.
