Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development & Prospecting
- Proactively identify and engage potential clients in industries such as retail, corporate, healthcare, real estate, hospitality, and construction.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target local businesses, property managers, general contractors, and franchise owners.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits to commercial properties and construction sites—hustle is key!
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging signage needs to position Artex as the preferred signage partner.
Client Consultation & Sales Execution
- Conduct on-site consultations to assess customer needs, take measurements, and recommend the best signage solutions.
- Work closely with Artex's design, production, and installation teams to ensure proposed signage solutions are both visually appealing and technically feasible.
- Present compelling sales proposals, including detailed project scopes, pricing structures, and timelines, ensuring clients understand the value of Artex’s offerings.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently, keeping projects moving without delays.
Relationship Management & Customer Experience
- Establish long-term partnerships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and uncover additional business opportunities (upgrades, maintenance, rebranding, etc.).
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling questions, concerns, and project updates with professionalism and urgency.
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and installers to ensure smooth execution—we win as a team.
Internal Collaboration & Sales Reporting
- Teamwork is everything—collaborate with designers, production staff, and installers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for sales activities, client interactions, and project details.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to the leadership team, tracking leads, conversions, and revenue growth.
Industry Knowledge & Brand Advocacy
- Develop expert-level knowledge of signage types, materials, fabrication methods, and installation techniques.
- Educate clients on zoning regulations and permitting requirements for signage installations.
- Represent Artex Signs at networking events, trade shows, and industry gatherings to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Stay informed about emerging signage trends, digital solutions, and innovative branding technologies to keep Artex at the forefront of the industry.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Proven success in outside sales, preferably in signage, construction, or commercial branding industries.
- Hustle mentality—ability to generate, develop, and close new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-driven.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Compensation Package:
- Commission pay
