Warehouse Associate

Artful Home is looking for a team player, who appreciates what we do and believes in our Values, to join our dynamic Warehouse Team in Madison, WI (McAllens Way). The successful candidate will safely fulfill warehouse activities related to our apparel line, including but not limited to receiving, shipping, inspection, order fulfillment (picking and packaging orders), and inventory maintenance of all stocked apparel items.

Primary responsibilities include :

• Focuses on Artful Home's Vision Values. Considers the best interest of Artful Home and its team members, artists, and customers, while performing job duties.
• Contributes to an environment in which all team members are respected and included regardless of their individual differences and feel motivated to improve individual and work area contributions to achieve desired business results.
• Receives incoming apparel accurately and promptly, verifies the quantity and description of apparel received, enters quantity received into the system, and prepares the necessary reports.
• Assists in unloading trucks as required using pallet jacks (no forklift operation & no heavy lifting required), unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects defective or damaged items; reports / records any discrepancies.
• Prepares, labels, and places apparel on shelves, in racks, or in other designated areas in an orderly manner.
• Checks, verifies, picks, and packages orders to be shipped to customers and / or reviews other orders to determine if orders are correct. Processes apparel returns.
• Scans picked items from inventory, prepares packages for mailing, gift wraps items upon request, prepares necessary shipping documentation, and stages shipped packages for carrier pick-up.
• Maintains inventory by identifying and counting inventoried materials as listed on the count list.
• Performs cycle counts as necessary noting any discrepancies, and updates inventory software.
