Warehouse Lead

Artful Home is looking for a team player, who appreciates what we do and believes in our Values, to join our dynamic warehouse team in Madison, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily warehouse operations to include warehouse communications, order management, team member support, and acting as the backup to the Director of Warehouse Operations.

Primary responsibilities include :

• Focuses on Artful Home's Vision and Values. Considers the best interest of Artful Home and its team members, artists, and customers, while performing job duties.
• Contributes to an environment in which all team members are respected and included regardless of their individual differences and feel motivated to improve individual and work area contributions to achieve desired business results.
• Performs daily setup. This includes printing orders, assigning work, and monitoring progress.
• Maintains supplies and materials needed in the warehouse for essential functions.
• Addresses any team member concerns and maintains expected production standards.
• Reports any issues or concerns about team members to Director of Warehouse Operations.
• Maintains working relationship with Director of Warehouse Operations, regularly meeting with Director to maintain an open line of communication.
• Acts as the backup to the Director of Warehouse Operations in their absence.
• Enforces and monitors all policies and procedures.
• Conducts new team member training and continued education through mentorship.
• Accommodates scheduling changes as needed and as assigned to support team functions.
• Participates in related staff, team and / or task group meetings to ensure constant communication of key items.
• Supports and assists other departments with special projects and tasks.
• Enhances the organization's success by accepting ownership of new tasks and opportunities and adding value through individual and team accomplishments.
• Participates in onsite and virtual team and organizational meetings and training sessions as scheduled, which may be recorded for communication and training purposes. The use of computer video cameras is required due to remote work opportunities.
• Completes all other warehouse duties and responsibilities as needed.
