The Human Resource team in Pendleton, South Carolina (AMISC) is responsible for supporting all recruiting, onboarding, and positive employee relations activities at AMISC. We are searching for an intern pursuing a Human Resource or Business degree to support the HR team at AMISC. The successful candidate will assist with functions related to file management, onboarding, terminations, benefits, and data management, data analytics as well as help organize community and employee events.
This internship will run from May 2025 – August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Pendleton, SC facility.
Main Objective
The goal of the internship in Employee Relations at the South Carolina facility would be to serve as a support to the current HR Admin, conduct data analytics, develop methodology for creating and maintaining employee email distributions, and general training in employee relations with the hopes of supporting the ER team with corrective actions, coaching, and basic investigations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Business Management or Human Resource Management. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
Knowledge And Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses And/or Training
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.

- Develop process for creating and maintaining employee email distribution.
- Conduct basic data analytics regarding tenure and training.
- Assist with file managemen.
- Assist with planning, set up, and facilitation of employee events.
- Assist Operations Training team with Learning and Development preparation.
- Assist with New Employee Orientation administrative duties.
