Main Objective

Oversee the planning, curation, design and publication of corporate visual content initiatives across multiple channels and formats to support business objectives. This role requires the ability to strategize, develop, and track content revisions, and the creation and maintenance of effective visual designs. Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across Arthrex are essential, as well as balancing a wide range of deadlines and priorities simultaneously.

Knowledge of the latest graphic design applications, styles, and layout techniques. Ability to maintain brand consistency and possess working knowledge of print and digital design fundamentals.

Ultimate objective is to ensure output promotes the Arthrex brand through the creation of high-quality visuals, while keeping current with approaches, techniques, and tools.

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

Knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, color, layout, texture, PowerPoint and computer graphics software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC) are essential. Experience in graphic and/or visual design using Adobe CC platform is required. Candidates must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Machine, Tools, And/or Equipment Skills

Macintosh and/or PC computer skills are a must.

Responsibilites

  • Conduct content and corporate asset audits and maintain and update published content
  • Curate and maintain content and playlists for corporate initiatives, including gallery spaces, such as employee and history galleries, product showrooms, etc.
  • Establish workflows and standards needed to ensure that the required content is up-to-date and available - act as a stakeholder for corporate facts, figures and data, and
  • Collaborate effectively as a creative partner with internal cross-functional business partners and stakeholders
  • Assist brand alignment, marketing, and facilities with brand and design consultation mock-ups as needed
  • Champion the brand in support of the overall marketing vision and business needs
  • Ensure consistency across projects
  • Utilize approved digital assets found in the internal digital asset management system and approved sources
  • Facilitate revisions of existing visual content assets
  • Maintain project status within the Arthrex workflow management tool
  • Intermediate ability to work within set templates, styles, and brand standards

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Visual Content Designer I, or similar role
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Great current aesthetic with the ability to combine various colors, fonts, and layouts, while holding true to brand standards
  • Multi-disciplinary designer; intermediate experience in both print and digital outputs
  • Proven attention to visual details, and an ability to deliver high quality files
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate on a diverse team
  • Must thrive in high velocity and constantly evolving work environment and have excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines
  • Intermediate problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in graphic design or related field
  • 2 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably with medical device company or agency equivalent with medical device or healthcare marketing accounts required
  • At least an intermediate Macintosh and/or PC computer skills are essential
  • Proven ability within graphic and visual design space
  • Proven organizational and content management skills

Reasoning Ability

This position requires the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Candidate needs to possess the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements is necessary for this position.

Language And Communication Skills

Candidate needs to be able to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Candidate must possess the ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
