Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is looking to bring on a motivated medical assistant onto our team!
As a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing necessary fittings for custom and off-the shelf knee braces. You will educate patients to guarantee that each DME product achieves its prescribed clinical outcome. The target is to ensure our patients are provided with a comfortable and safe experience.

As a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing necessary fittings for custom and off-the shelf knee braces. You will educate patients to guarantee that each DME product achieves its prescribed clinical outcome. The target is to ensure our patients are provided with a comfortable and safe experience.
Responsibilities
- Review patient charts to prepare for delivery of braces and set daily goals.
- Ensure inventory is accurately counted and recorded daily.
- Participate in routing patients through the practice.
- Measure and fit prescribed braces.
- Perform adjustments/re-fittings as necessary.
- Ensure patient bracing data is accurately recorded.
- Medical assistant experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
- Medical assistant certification
