Our clinicians provide special expertise in the treatment of orthopedic conditions, rheumatic and neurological disorders, geriatrics, ergonomic conditions, and neuromuscular syndromes. The incumbent must have a professional demeanor, with a passion for and a strong interest in providing direct, hands-on care to patients. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

JOB TITLE: MSK Sonographer
JOB TYPE: Full-Time
LOCATION: Multiple office locations in DC, MD, and VA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct diagnostic MSK sonography exams as ordered by physicians.
Prepare exam rooms and equipment, following infection control and safety protocols.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the examination.
Review patient medical history and relevant clinical information.
Use proper patient positioning tools and ergonomic techniques.
Document findings and maintain patient privacy.
Communicate effectively with patients.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
Adhere to professional and ethical standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma.
Current certification as a Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
Completion of ARDMS MSKS registry within one (1) year of employment.
Commitment to professional growth and continuing education.
Proficiency in computer skills and software used for documentation.
Ability to perform equipment maintenance.
COMPLIANCE:
Adherence to certification and licensure requirements.
Compliance with OSHA regulations.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Commitment to ethical conduct.
HIPAA-Minimum Necessary Access to PHI:
Access to the computer "role" of MSK Ultrasound.
