Responsibilities
The role:
As a Staff Accountant Intern at Arthur D. Little, you will support the finance team with various tasks and projects. The Staff Accountant Intern's role includes:
Processing documents and invoices
Bookkeeping
Handling expense claims
Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and presentations
Assisting with financial analysis and data entry
Supporting the team in various ad-hoc finance-related tasks
Qualifications
Desired candidate profile:
At Arthur D. Little, Staff Accountant Interns are highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and intellectually curious problem-solvers. As a Staff Accountant Intern, you will work closely with the finance team to contribute to critical operations and gain hands-on experience in various financial processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
As a future Staff Accountant Intern, you:
Are enrolled in a degree program from Northeastern, preferably in Finance, Accounting, economics or a related field
Have already completed one Co Op previously
Possess strong analytical skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast – paced environment
A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and changes in work environment
A critical thinker, highly organized and detail oriented
A team player who manages own workload but can be flexible according to the needs of the team
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity
Have U.S.A. work authorization, at least OPT STEM
