Note:
We are seeking a highly skilled Panel Integration Technicians to join our dynamic team of experts. Your role will involve fabricating, inspecting, and testing Ground Safety Equipment assembly’s & panel/racks integral to our various spaceflight systems.
Roles would start in a shop environment on the SPACE COAST or WESTERN FLORIDA and transition into the field at KENNEDY SPACE CENTER

Position Overview/Job Summary:
Panel Technicians II-Ill are responsible for integrating electronic equipment systems for space system components for the Artemis programs. Technicians are also responsible for assembling of complex electromechanical racks, panels and subassemblies.
As the Panel Technician, your contributions will be critical to ensuring safe, consistent, and groundbreaking advancements in human spaceflight.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including verification of employment and education.
Must be physically capable to conduct field inspections and participate in project walkdowns which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a shop and construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing in very small and/or confined spaces, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Associate degree in related field preferred. Experience in lieu of college education will be considered.
Three (3 ) years' experience as an electrical/cable fabrication technician or other relevant industry experience. Applicants with experience that exceed the minimum may be considered for a higher-level Avionics Technician position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous Experience working with panel, wiring and mechanical installs & experience with engineering drawings, wire diagrams, and electrical schematics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/365 including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
Experience with avionics/panel manufacturing and operation of related test equipment. Proficiency in harsh environment test & assembly procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC/ WHMA-A-620, MIL-DTL-22520, NASA-STD-8739, J-STD-001, and ANSI/ESD S20.20.
Proficient in using measurement tools and understanding basic math concepts.

Shift/Schedule:
This position is for the day shift generally working 7:00am - 5:30pm, which includes two 15-minute break and 30-minute unpaid lunch
