Title of Position: Mainframe Developer (Adabas / Natural)
Location: Lenior, NC - Hybrid
Duration: Full Time
Employment: Permanent
Salary: $Negotiable
Experience:
- Adabas/Natural Required
- RPGII is a plus
- VSE or z/OS on a mainframe
Job Description:
- Writes application specifications, draws file layouts and flow charts, and performs program coding
- Works with Systems Analyst and the Operation staff in developing programs to the operation stage to minimize computer down time
- Maintains application programs for maximum efficiency and data integrity
- Communicate effectively and proficiently with tea members as well as end users
- Perform on call duties as assigned
- Providing technical assistance to client personnel, hardware and software maintenance and upgrades as needed
- Communicate with client personnel to facilitate best methods for objectives and possibilities from a programming standpoint
- Associate or Bachelor s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent
- 5 years experience programming in Natural/ADABAS or comparable languages, preferred
- Strong Communication skills: verbal and written
- Strong data analytics, specifically in terms of debugging and troubleshooting, program specifications and technical documentation
