Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize databases on the Oracle Exadata platform, including Sparse Clones and Exacc Platform
- Administer Oracle Autonomous Databases (ADB) to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency
- Implement and maintain Oracle RAC and DataGuard for disaster recovery and replication
- Design and execute backup and recovery strategies to safeguard business-critical data
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement database-related solutions and enhancements
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices
- Optionally support MySQL and Cassandra databases to enhance operational capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle database administration
- Expertise with Oracle Exadata, including Sparse Clones/Snapshots and Exacc platform management
- Strong proficiency in Oracle 19c, Oracle RAC, and DataGuard
- Proven experience in backup and recovery of enterprise-level database systems
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex database environments
- Working knowledge of MySQL and Cassandra databases
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of database security protocols and performance tuning best practices
