CNC Operator
Location: Shelby, NC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (Flexible Hours)
Compensation: $18 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our team in Shelby, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC operations, including programming, setup, and blueprint reading. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a commitment to precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
- Perform machine changeovers and adjustments to accommodate various production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers, to ensure product accuracy and compliance with tolerances.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator (minimum of 1 year preferred).
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and setup.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
