Position: Manufacturing Purchasing Buyer
Location: Cherryville, NC
Schedule: Monday - Friday / 1st shift
Hourly Rate: $20/hr
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to handle material purchasing for our production facility. The ideal person should be proactive, possess strong math skills, and be proficient with computers and tablets. This role requires extensive use of Excel, Outlook, and other programs such as SharePoint. Experience with the Deacom system is a significant advantage. The position also involves physical tasks, including squatting, bending, and lifting.
Duties
- Perform daily material counts using a tablet in Excel.
- Order materials through the Deacom software program.
- Update and maintain Excel worksheets on a daily basis.
- Utilize strong math skills for counting and product order conversions.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
