Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and risk registers
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of project outputs
- Monitor and report on project progress, issues and risks to senior management and possibly the client
- Conduct quality assurance and user acceptance testing of project deliverables
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and best practices
- Gather and analyze requirements for Microsoft-based solutions
- Create detailed documentation, workflows, and user stories to support project development
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement validation sessions
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
- Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented
- Apply Scrum methodologies to ensure Agile best practices within the team
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
- Act as a Scrum Master, guiding teams on Agile principles and removing impediments
- Mentor teams on Agile methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Assist in story writing and estimation, ensuring user stories are well defined, properly estimated, and aligned with business priorities
- Review requirements and user stories in Azure DevOps to ensure accuracy and completeness before development begins, providing feedback and adjustments as needed
- Ensure Microsoft-based applications meet high-quality standards through thorough testing
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies (both manual and automated)
- Work with Azure DevOps or similar platforms for test management and tracking
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects and work with development teams for resolution
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and continuous process improvement
- Great organizational skills including keeping track of lots of details, tasks, and action items
- Knowledge and understanding of project methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall
- Prior knowledge of Office Productivity Suite
- Experience in managing software development projects using agile methodologies and tools such as Azure, Jira and Microsoft Office
- Ability to document simple Business Requirements
- Ability to learn the business landscape through interviews with key stakeholders, where detailed notes are captured and collected to allow others to benefit from the information
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle, processes, and technologies
- Proactively seek ways to increase the level of responsibility and take ownership of new areas of responsibility
- Possessing at least a beginner knowledge with coding is a plus
- Ability to raise issues and challenges appropriately to management
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined team player; ability to accomplish project-related tasks with some guidance
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, high-output, time sensitive environment
- Ability to self-educate and fully complete training programs
- Ability to assist with the successful management of small/medium sized projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to receive feedback and create a course of action based on feedback
- Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Desire to work in a technical and business environment with passion for Project Management
- Prior consulting experience is preferred
