The candidate for this position should have experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
· Laser Wizardry: Operate and maintain our state-of-the-art laser cutting, marking, and engraving machines with finesse and precision, ensuring flawless cuts and efficient programs.
· Design Dynamo: Collaborate with our design team to translate creative concepts into precision parts.
· Quality Control Guru: Inspect and measure completed parts to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and accuracy.
· Secondary Ops Magician: Process secondary operations on parts such as deburring, countersinking, tapping, hardware insertion.
· Process Innovator: Continuously seek ways to improve processes, skills, techniques, and productivity.
· Material Handler: Use forklifts and cranes to move and carefully handle materials and completed parts.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Previous experience with laser-cutting machines or CNC equipment is a plus, but not mandatory. We are willing and able to train a motivated candidate!
· Technical Skills: A basic understanding of windows-based computers, tape measures, and the ability to read / write in English is required. We’ll show you how to interpret blueprints if you do not already know!
· Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality work.
· Problem-solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to think on your feet.
· Team Player: excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team to ensure project execution all the way through to delivery!
· Hands-on: This position requires you to be on your feet most of the day and lift up-to 50lbs periodically!
