Position : Active Directory Engineer
Location : Bufallo, NY Remote
Duration : 12 month contract
Visa : Citizens
What You'll Need to Have :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or work-related experience.
3 years professional experience in a technical engineering position involving operational upkeep, optimization, and feature expansion of a highly complex enterprise deployment of Active Directory and / or Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
4 years of experience in designing, implementing, and / or managing Directory Services environments in enterprise-level organizations.
2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting of issues, vendor relationship and license management, business continuity planning, capacity planning, audit / compliance, disaster recovery and platform maintenance.
Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages, particularly PowerShell / Python, for automating Active Directory tasks and processes. Ansible a plus.
Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, including SSO, LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Experience with directory services integration, including LDAP, Azure AD, and third-party identity providers.
Solid grasp of networking concepts, including TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified : Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
