Business Development Executive
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and driving the growth of our metal stamping and automation services in the automotive industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the automotive sector, particularly in tooling and metal stamping, to expand our market presence and achieve sales targets.
In this influential role, the selected candidate will:
- Develop relationships with key customers with businesses that support ArtiFlex’s growth plan
- Follow identified sales plan to meet company objectives, including revenue and profitability requirements.
- Generate leads through various channels, including industry events, networking, cold calling, and digital marketing.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Identify opportunities with intercompany leaders for programs that flow across all areas of ArtiFlex.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Work with all business group teams to determine viability of new work, including capacity, type/fit, profitability and other considerations.
- Work with customers to understand needs and provide engineered solutions to their needs.
- Be responsible for successfully building and maintaining cross-functional relationships with Customers, Business Leaders, Program Managers, Account Executives and Estimators.
- Close sales opportunities by overcoming and finding solutions to customer objections.
Successful candidates will bring and exhibit:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- In-depth knowledge of metal stamping, tooling and automation processes and technologies.
- Experience in business development, engineering and/or project management.
- Experience working closely with Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Journeyman Toolmaker or equivalent experience preferred.
- Passion for increasing company growth with a drive to succeed.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork and presentation skills.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
Travel:
- Travel is required to attend in-person customer meetings, at locations within the US and internationally.
