Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in evaluating and improving manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring optimal production outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, a strong grasp of PPAP elements, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Develop and manage PPAP elements, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Control Plans.
- Design and refine manufacturing processes by analyzing product requirements and researching testing methods.
- Recommend and implement best practices to improve production processes.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency through workflow analysis and planning, while interacting with equipment vendors for solutions.
- Provide data-driven decision-making insights by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
- Prepare detailed product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing trends and metrics.
- Address manufacturing engineering inquiries and provide necessary support.
- Ensure equipment reliability by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
Mandatory Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3 to 10 years of proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering within industries such as Off-Highway Vehicles, Heavy Machinery, Automotive, or Aerospace.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in working with CNC machines and developing PPAP elements.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage tasks independently or collaboratively in project teams.
- Comprehensive domain knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices.
