Job Description
Artimus Robotics - located in Boulder, CO - has an exciting opening for an Electronics Assembly Technician to assist with the assembly and production of our High Voltage electronics. This is a Contract position that is ideal for someone looking for part-time work. You will be building power supplies that will be shipped to customers around the world in a range of industries. Thus, this position requires strong organizational skills to ensure inventory is accurately tracked and stocked. Additionally, this role will require keen attention to detail and the ability to independently troubleshoot & test electronic components.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for soldering, potting, and assembling custom printed circuit boards
- Responsible for the production of high voltage cabling and cable assemblies
- Review & update electronics inventory to ensure production units are properly stocked
- Quality assurance testing and troubleshooting various electrical circuits
Required skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent with professional experience with electronics assembly & testing, related Associate's degree, or pursuing a related degree
- Experience reading electrical schematics
- Experience troubleshooting hardware
- Experience operating general electronics equipment including DC power supply, oscilloscope, ammeter, and multimeter
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to quickly learn on-the-fly
- Ability to document work and write work instructions
Preferred Experience
- Experience soldering through-hole and surface mount components
- Experience potting PCBs in enclosures
Additional Info:
- Potential for advancement and increased responsibility including PCB design and production management depending on skills and experience.
Compensation:
- $20-30/hr depending on experience.
Job Expectations:
- The Employee is expected to dedicate the time necessary to accomplish the given job requirements.
- Hours per week may vary depending on product demand. We expect a range of 10-25 hours per week.
- Other duties as assigned when required to support the business.
- This position is in person.
