Our client is a major player in the investment banking space and they are seeking a Vice President of Content Marketing to drive and elevate the organization’s content marketing efforts within a fast-paced, professional services environment.
You Will:
- Design and implement content marketing strategies that align with firmwide and practice-level goals, identifying opportunities for cross-functional positioning
- Ideate, write, edit, and proofread marketing content for digital and print platforms including website, email, social media, press releases, team bios, case studies, event materials, and more
- Collaborate with marketing leadership and internal stakeholders to execute an integrated content strategy
- Optimize content using SEO, SEM, and analytics insights to enhance visibility and engagement
- Deliver engaging, high-quality content on a consistent schedule and deploy across appropriate marketing channels
- Maintain and manage a content calendar to meet publishing deadlines
- Coordinate and participate in content planning and capture calls with internal partners
- Track competitor activity and market trends to inform and refine the content marketing strategy
- Build and manage a robust content pipeline by leveraging relationships, firm activities, and proprietary materials
- Edit and improve case studies, internal training decks, and communications with an eye for repurposing marketing-worthy content
- Review and enhance video content to ensure alignment with brand messaging and strategy
- Support internal communications efforts and messaging initiatives
- Maintain brand style guides and formatting standards to ensure consistency across content
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the content development process to streamline subject matter expert input
- Assist in firmwide marketing initiatives including web updates, social media management, email campaigns, content library maintenance, and one-off projects
- Partner with internal teams to ensure tone, grammar, and style are on-brand for all internal and external content including presentations, compliance documents, and playbooks
- Contribute to building and sustaining a high-performing, inclusive team culture
You Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- At least five years of experience in a content-focused marketing role, preferably within a top-tier consulting, financial services, or professional services firm
- Experience working in a collaborative, in-office environment at least four days per week
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset
- A strong analytical approach with the ability to drive results through data-informed decision-making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and content management systems such as WordPress
- An understanding of SEO best practices, web publishing standards, and digital traffic analytics
- A sharp editorial sense and the ability to tailor content to audience interests
- Fluency across major social media platforms and emerging trends
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working in a small team environment with a collaborative, hands-on approach
- Ability to clearly communicate complex information through polished Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint deliverables
- Responsiveness and reliability in time-sensitive situations
- A proven ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage details across a broad range of projects
