As the Senior UX / UI Designer, you'll collaborate with the design team, product leads, and engineering partners to craft creative solutions that align with business goals and user needs. If this sounds like the perfect role for you, let's chat!You Will : Design & Implementation (70%)Contribute to the UX / UI of the foundational design system, standards, patterns, and UI elementsPartner with the team and build out assets to support the rebrandSupport Design Research (generative and evaluative) initiatives for your team / productsAnalyze business and technical requirementsLead synthesis sessions with your team, following agile and lean methodologiesCreate user journeys and flows to capture current and future states of user pathwaysDevelop wireframes, interactive prototypes, comps, specifications, and other design documents to communicate design ideas to project teamsPartner with the Accessibility team to ensure designs are compliantCreate and present concepts / deliverables to your working team and our stakeholdersConduct handoffs to developers through tools like Figma and ZeplinWork collaboratively with the core Design team to ensure brand and pattern alignmentContribute to the overall UX / UI design strategy, including feeding into and refining a design system to facilitate a unified experience across all the productsDocument and present design updates to stakeholders and usersCollaborate and take direction from multiple stakeholders and disciplines to achieve an impactful experienceParticipate and be vocal in agile ceremonies to ensure design needs are metNurture a culture of user empathy and deep curiosity that enables you to build simple, intuitive products for the customersAdvocate for consistent design processes, methods, core systems, and patternsProject Management (10%)Self-manage workload and obtain necessary requirements and acceptance criteria needed to complete workCoordinate with UX Lead, product leads, design team, and engineers to ensure timely delivery of design artifactsHelp foster an environment for collaboration by partnering with business and other creative units to align the visual design approach with project goals and overall brandYou Have : 5 years of relevant design experienceA Bachelor’s degree in a related field (computer science, interaction design, HCI, industrial design, information science, social sciences, graphic design, etc.) and / or equivalent years of work experienceA ‘Product Design’ mindset, owning the end-to-end design delivery from strategy to compsAdvanced understanding of design systems, hierarchy, typography, visual design, responsiveness, accessibility, branding, illustration, data visualization, iconography and interaction designYou are detail-oriented and passionate about visual design, UX, and research and have extensive experience in information design and user scenarios, digital interaction design patterns, website architecture, user interfaces, and navigation on various platforms (Web, mobile, tablet)Experience with user-centered research, such as usability testing, contextual inquiry, and field interviewsAn understanding of the physical, cognitive, cultural, and social factors that affect design decisionsFamiliarity with front-end coding technologies and data modeling (a big plus!)Strong communication skills with an ability to demonstrate both leadership and understanding with respect to project partnersHighly adaptable to new information, situations, or challenges and can work independentlyLogistics : Projected Start Date : February 18th, 2025Duration : 4 months with potential to extendHours / Week : 40 hours per weekOnsite / offsite : Remote - EST hours and prefer candidates living EST - CST as the furthestLaptop / Program Requirements : A laptop will be provided for you#J-18808-Ljbffr
