The role would work on global client and business engagements across a variety of industries, topics, methodologies, and research modalities. This is a full-time exempt and remote position based in CA, IL or NY. ResponsibilitiesMarket Research Insight Design, Analysis & Report DevelopmentPlay a key role in designing and executing quantitative and qualitative projects in a collaborative environments with the broader Artisanal team and directly with clients including, but not limited to, global landscape, strategy, product development, concept, brand, positioning, segmentation, and post-release studiesWrite quantitative questionnaires, review questionnaire logic, and make client updatesWrite qualitative screeners, draft discussion guides, and focus group and community summariesSynthesize results into both written and highly visual reports with actionable insights and recommendations Design highly visual reports that bring insights to life in eye-catching waysMarket Research Project Management & OperationsBuild and maintain key client relationships and serve as the day-to-day point of contact for project communications    Manage research and consulting engagements from start to finish across a variety of clients and methodologies, keeping projects organized and on track both internally and with external partners, as well as writing summaries as needed for both internal needs and clientsOversee programming with programming partners and test survey links to ensure accuracySetup data processing using tools such as Q and Displayr and through DP partners, including writing data processing specs, setting up data tabs and banners in Q / Displayr, coding open-ended responses, and running ad hoc data needs (training will be provided as need)Monitor focus group recruitment to ensure participants meet screener qualifications and are appropriately balanced per the projects needsProgram qualitative community engagement platforms and manage participant interaction to keep engagement highCompany Marketing and Business DevelopmentSupport responses to RFPs and contribute to proposalsContribute to the companys marketing strategy, including ideating and writing blog posts, capabilities decks, and thought leadership researchStay up-to-date on pop culture, entertainment, and tech trends and share ideas for new research topics with the broader teamIdeal CandidateMinimum of 3 years of experience at a dedicated market research agency for the Manager level or minimum 5 years of experience for the Senior Manager level, preferably with an entertainment and / or technology focusBA / BS with a strong academic recordExperience with and / or a desire to learn diverse research methodologies across qualitative and quantitative modalities, including, but not limited to, MaxDiff, correspondence analysis, factor analysis, segmentation, and conjoint analysisStrong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, with a passion and curiosity for learning about the world around themSelf-starter who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively and is excited to work Strong attention to detail, project management and organizational skillsExcellent written, oral, and visual communication skillsComfortable working in Microsoft Office, Keynote, and Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, and Sheets) programsSome comfort with or willingness to learn Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Q / Displayr data processing and analytics toolsPersonal interest and passion for streaming services, video games, sports, movies, tech, and / or animeBenefits and CompensationWe believe the target range of base compensation for this role is $70,000-$100,000, plus bonus and profit sharing eligibility, as well as fully vested employer 401k contributions after 1 year with the company.
