Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting staff to work, picking up goods and driving guests home on occasion, while ensuring timeliness and customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle various driving tasks, including heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van or similar vehicle for the transportation of goods, staff and guests.
• Load and unload items using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
• Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and drop offs or pick ups, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
• Assist with moving items in a restaurant settings as needed, including heavy lifting tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
• Applicant should have flexibility in their schedule. Daily hours will vary, pick ups/ drop off during the day, 2:00pm-4:00pm; drop off in the evening, 10:00 pm-12:00 pm. Saturday/Sunday, staff outings, 2:00pm-6:00 pm.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
