Job Summary:
As a Residential Construction Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of residential construction projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in Buildertrend will be essential in managing project schedules, budgets, and communication among customers and vendors. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a full-time contractor (1099) position
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects.
- Utilize Buildertrend for project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and scope, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project status reports to customers & vendors, highlighting milestones, risks, and budget updates.
- Facilitate clear communication between team members, clients, and vendors to ensure project alignment.
- Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during construction to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction project management.
- Proven experience with Buildertrend or similar project management software.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- MUST have (or willing to obtain) Liability & worker's comp Insurance
