What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Technician position at Artistic Grounds?
Irrigation Technician
Heads up, technicians. We pay differently! We pay on performance, which means your ambition dictates how much you can make. If you have been looking for an irrigation position that pays, this is it. We are looking for an experienced irrigation technician to service and install irrigation systems. You will be responsible for mapping out irrigation systems, installing equipment, testing the system, and conducting regular service repair work and maintenance checks.
To ensure your success , you should exhibit a strong work ethic, have detailed knowledge of irrigation techniques, and be able to operate machinery related to installing an irrigation system when required.
Requirements:
Valid Drivers Licence and DOT medical card or ability to obtain one by hire date
CIT certification preferred but not required
Proven work experience as an Irrigation Technician.
Knowledge of irrigation and electrical systems.
Good client communication skills.
Knowledge of plumbing is preferred.
Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
Knowledge of soil, vegetation, and climate.
