What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stone Slab Handler position at Artistic Tile?
The Slab Handler is responsible for pulling slab orders accurately and safely via an overhead crane. Experience with use of overhead crane and clamp truck with boom attachment is required. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the stone industry and a current drivers license with an acceptable driving record. Basic knowledge of stone shop operations and fabrication is a plus. Wage is commensurate with experience. Full time with comprehensive benefit package. Certification required to operate machinery will be arranged by employer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Load and unload material.
· Place material in inventory.
· Prepare material for shipment.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Driving delivery truck as necessary.
· Perform additional duties as required and or requested.
Qualification Requirements:
2 years warehouse experience required.
2 years forklift clamp truck with boom attachment and crane assembly.
Current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Basic computer skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally lift, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
