Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift (7 : 00 PM 7 : 30 AM) . The RN will be responsible for overseeing total patient care services, ensuring compliance with established protocols, and acting as a House Supervisor in the absence of senior leadership.

Responsibilities :

Deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
Provide leadership and oversight of nursing staff during assigned shifts
Make administrative decisions when necessary in the absence of executive leadership
Evaluate patient needs, implement care plans, and monitor treatment progress
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and hospital policies
Effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications & Skills :

Active California RN license (required)

Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience (preferred)

Degree from an accredited nursing school

Certifications required : ACLS, PALS, and BLS

Experience in staff supervision and management preferred

Proficiency in EMR systems (CPSI / Evident experience preferred)

Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Basic computer skills required

Job Details :

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift (7 : 00 PM 7 : 30 AM)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Overtime : After 40 hours / week (1.5x all-inclusive rate)

Holiday Pay : 1.5x all-inclusive rate

On-Call : Not required

Bilingual : Not required

Compensation :

Hourly Rate : $60 (All-Inclusive)

Overtime & Holiday Pay : 1.5x all-inclusive rate

Mileage Reimbursement : Not provided

1099 Accepted : No

Salary : $60
