Job Title : Information Security Engineer
Location : Primarily remote, with occasional on-site meetings at designated locations (travel expenses not covered).
Job Summary :
The Information Security Engineer plays a key role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of an organization's information resources. This position involves designing, implementing, administering, and maintaining security systems while supporting routine security operations.
Responsibilities :
- Protect and manage security infrastructure to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
- Analyze large volumes of logs, network data (e.g., NetFlow, FPC), and attack artifacts to support incident investigations.
- Implement and maintain security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 / 27002, NIST, CIS-20, COBIT, and ITIL .
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including HIPAA and PCI .
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to assess and mitigate risks while maintaining security best practices.
- Continuously monitor and enhance security measures to prevent vulnerabilities and potential threats.
