Hours: Rotating 8a-5pLocation:604 Cottman Avenue Cheltenham, PA 19012Job SummaryThis position is responsible for confirming and satisfying all billing requirements by obtaining the appropriate pre-certification/authorization from all necessary payers to avoid payment penalties. Responsible to confirm the financial/insurance information obtained during the registration process to determine that State, Federal and Third Party precertification/billing requirements are met to ensure optimal reimbursement for services to be rendered.Requirements Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Experience 1 Year experience as an Insurance Specialist or equivalent hospital pre-certification/utilization role (Required) *We are looking for candidates with experience in obtaining authorizations for chemotherapy and outpatient surgical procedures. In particular, experience with gastro, urology, and orthopedics.(Required)
