Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Revenue Cycle functions to meet or exceed performance metrics.
- Ensure departmental quality and productivity standards are consistently met.
- Collect and process patient and payor information for account resolution.
- Conduct research to ensure compliance with governmental regulations for claims submission.
- Respond to account inquiries through written, verbal, or electronic correspondence.
- Maintain knowledge of insurance and self-pay billing, follow-up guidelines, and third-party payer regulations.
- Stay updated on payor-specific processes and maintain expertise in Revenue Cycle functions.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in healthcare, focusing on insurance billing, collections, payment processing, reimbursement verification, or refunds.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Preferred: Experience in a multi-facility hospital business office environment.
