Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy Department on the night shift. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care and cardiopulmonary services, ensuring patient well-being and optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, IPPB, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, and sputum induction.
- Perform cardio-pulmonary diagnostics such as ECGs, cardiac stress testing (Lexiscan, dobutamine, and stress echocardiogram), tilt tests, Holter scanning, pulmonary function testing (PFT), arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, EEGs, home sleep studies, and nocturnal oximetry.
- Accurately document patient records in accordance with departmental standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in respiratory therapy.
- Current BLS certification (ACLS required within 6 months of employment).
- Active, unrestricted Colorado license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- CRT required; RRT must be obtained within 2 years of employment.
- NRP certification preferred.
- Pay Range: * - * per hour (based on education and experience).
