We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg Telemetry position. The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate the care required for assigned patients while collaborating with physicians, patient families, and the healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of nursing principles, current techniques, and methods, with the ability to direct nursing support staff effectively. This role requires adherence to nursing standards, policies, and procedures, along with active engagement in providing patient-centered care.

Shift Requirements
- Every other weekend, every other Monday, and every other Friday required.
- Limited approval for Wednesday scheduling.
- Any approved weekend time-off requests (RTO) must be made up based on facility needs.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ conditions and implement individualized care plans under the direction of a licensed physician.
- Use the nursing process to evaluate and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Supervise and guide nursing support staff in delivering patient care.
- Demonstrate expertise in trauma or specialty care, if applicable.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the relevant specialty (Required).
- Trauma facility experience or national trauma/specialty certification (Preferred).
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a specialty area (Preferred).
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse License in Pennsylvania (Required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA (Required).
- ACLS Certification (Highly Preferred).
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (Required).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with trauma or specialty care settings is a plus.
