Job Title : Senior Network Support Engineer (5G Core & Messaging)

Location : Littleton, New Hampshire
Responsibilities :
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting expertise for escalated incidents in messaging (SMS / MMS) and voicemail solutions.
- Act as the SME for messaging systems, with preference for Mavenir product expertise; knowledge of 911, LI (CALEA), Nokia SDL, and Oracle Packet Core is a plus.
- Handle network outages and service degradations, perform initial RCA, and coordinate with vendors and engineering teams for final RCA.
- Lead troubleshooting bridges with internal teams and vendors as needed.
- Collaborate with Core Tier III / Engineering teams for critical, time-sensitive issue resolutions.
- Document troubleshooting processes and methods to improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with market teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and monitor key metrics for performance and service assurance.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve incidents and ensure thorough RCA documentation.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of SA Core, Edge, RAN, Transport, Virtual / Cloud environments, orchestration, and FCAPS platforms.
- Work on 5G Standalone Core Network functions such as NRF, BSF, NSSF, SEPP, NEF, SCP, and PCF, along with IMS and messaging domains.
- Engage with engineering teams from DISH and vendors to triage and debug complex network activities.
- Collaborate with performance engineering teams and NOC to define and enhance baseline KPIs for network health monitoring.
- Escalate issues to Tier II & III teams for critical and time-sensitive resolutions.
- Provide expert knowledge in managing and optimizing 5G SA Core and associated network functions.
- Ensure continuous improvement of troubleshooting practices and knowledge transfer across teams.
