Job Title : Senior Oracle DBA and GoldenGate Specialist
Job Type : W2
Experience : 6 to 15 Years
Location : Las Vegas, Nevada
Responsibilities :
5 years as an Oracle DBA with production support experience, including Oracle 12c and 19c and Goldengate 12. X,, 18.x 19.x
Minimum 2 years working in Oracle Engineered Systems (ODA, Exadata)
Work 24x7 rotational on-call support, including driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA), preventative action follow-through, and participation in weekly operations reviews.
Participate in database capacity planning related to database growth and system utilization, trend analysis, and predicting future database resource requirements
Proactive and reactive database performance analysis, troubleshooting, monitoring, performance tuning,g and issue resolution
Change management including maintenance of multiple development, test, QA, and production environments. Responsible for deploying approved changes to production.
Strong track record supporting complex Goldengate Replication Setup across different releases of Oracle Database and different releases of Goldengate
Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture.
Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
